This four-day retreat, merging the tranquility of nature with the art of watercolor, has garnered such popularity that a second session has been added. Leading the workshop is Andy Evansen, a maestro in the world of watercolor. Since his international recognition in 2005 through American Artist magazine, Evansen has become a beacon in the art community. His role as President of both the Minnesota Watercolor Society and the Plein Air Painters of America (PAPA) illustrates his influence and expertise. Unique in his achievements, Evansen is the only watercolorist to grace the Wild Side Exhibition, a testament to his mastery in capturing the essence of landscapes. His accolades, including the prestigious Bronze Medal of Honor at the American Watercolor Society Exhibition, further attest to his artistic prowess. The workshop experience at the Bentwood Inn is a harmonious blend of artistic learning and luxurious comfort. Participants will enjoy four nights of accommodation with daily housekeeping, set against the backdrop of the inn's stunning architecture and natural surroundings. Culinary delights prepared by skilled chefs include daily breakfast, evening hors d'oeuvres, and a special three-course gourmet Bistro Dinner on both the arrival and final nights. To enrich the experience, the retreat includes a half-day wildlife excursion led by expert naturalists, offering a unique opportunity to observe the diverse wildlife active in the area. $3200 per guest participant * maximum of 8 participants
$450 per additional guest sharing room with meals (not participating in workshop)

Workshop includes:
• Watercolor instruction from Andy Evansen in both studio and plein air settings
• Four nights of lodging and daily housekeeping at the rustic, luxuriously appointed Bentwood Inn
• Chef-prepared breakfast and evening hors d'oeuvres daily, and lunch provided for two days
• Three-course gourmet Bistro Dinner on both arrival night and the final night of your stay
• A half day excursion led by EcoTour’s highly qualified naturalists to track and observe the incredible array of wildlife that is active in the area

Priced per guest participant, single occupancy. Taxes and gratuities included. Opportunity to share rooms with a non-participant guest available at $465 surcharge plus tax and gratuity charge - space is limited. Activity surcharge for non-participant $125 (not including park entrance and guide gratuity)

Payment Terms & Cancellation Policy

A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking. Reservations can be made by calling the Innkeepers at Bentwood Inn at 307-739-1411. All major credit cards are accepted. Deposit is non-refundable within 60 days of the date of arrival. Final payment is due 60 days prior to course start; or if reserving within 60 days full payment will be collected at time of booking. Cancellations made 60 days or less from arrival date, forfeit all monies paid. We highly recommend trip insurance, check with your current insurance provider.
