2022 Wildlife Photography Retreat with Andrew Coleman

A photography retreat led by contributing National Geographic photographer in the great outdoors of Jackson Hole, WY

October 25-30th, 2022

This comprehensive workshop Is designed to make you a better photographer by helping you to understand the fundamentals of how to create better images. You will learn how to tell a story with your photographs., how to capture a moment, and how to create enduring images through a better understanding of light and composition.

Daily workshops will address the fundamentals of photography through classroom instruction, field work and assignments, image critique and portfolio review, and digital workflow. Topics that will be covered include creating a sense of place, lighting and composition, storytelling, wildlife, landscapes, and the art of travel photography.

National Geographic photographer Andrew Coleman has traveled around the globe in search of amazing wildlife and landscapes. He is a regular contributor to National Geographic Traveler and the National Geographic website, as well as other publications, and is represented in the National Geographic Image Collection. Andrew has an insatiable appetite to be in the wild and, through his images, attempts to capture the extraordinary beauty of the natural world. Andrew has joined National Geographic Expeditions to Yellowstone National Park, Alaska, Borneo, the Galápagos, the Arctic, Around the World by Private Jet, and Cuba. Over the course of his career, he has traveled, camera in hand, to some of the world’s most remarkable places, including Jordan, Easter Island, Ecuador, Bora Bora, India, Kenya, Peru, South Africa, and Uganda.

$2195 per guest participant * maximum of 12 participants

$465 per additional guest sharing room with meals (not participating in workshop)

Who should participate:

The workshop is aimed at amateur photographers who are a beginner to intermediate (or advanced) in their skillset with a working knowledge of the basic features of their cameras and a desire to take their photography to the next level.

Priced per guest participant, single occupancy. Taxes and gratuities included. Opportunity to share rooms with a non-participant guest available at $465 surcharge plus tax and gratuity charge - space is limited. Activity surcharge for non-participant $125 (not including park entrance and guide gratuity)

Additional workshop participant sharing room may be added at an additional $1200 plus tax and gratuity charge.

Payment Terms & Cancellation Policy

A $500 deposit is required at the time of booking per participant. Non- participant deposit of $250. Reservations can be made by calling the Innkeepers at Bentwood Inn at 307-739-1411. All major credit cards are accepted. Deposit is non-refundable within 60 days of the date of arrival. Final payment is due 60 days prior to course start; or if reserving within 60 days full payment will be collected at time of booking. Cancellations made 60 days or less from arrival date, forfeit all monies paid. We highly recommend trip insurance, check with your current insurance provider.
