Winter is the best time to view them as they visit Jackson Hole in migration, but you’ll likely see calves born in the summer months. No matter what time of year, you'll be surrounded by hundreds, if not thousands, of elk grazing the vegetation with the towering Tetons behind them. Talk about a great photo-op!
