The Building

The architecture of the Jackson Center for the Arts building is truly breathtaking. The heart of the facility is the Performing Arts Pavilion, a 35,000 square foot addition that was completed in 2007. The pavilion contains music practice rooms, theater support areas, and a beautiful two-story theater that can sit up to 500 people. There's even a gorgeous glass façade that offers stunning views of the towering mountains outside.

Events & Programs

Willie Nelson, Amos Lee, the Metropolitan Opera, and the NYC Ballet are just a few of the legendary acts that have taken the stage at the Jackson Center for the Arts. Visitors can enjoy a wide range of events including art exhibitions, presentations, film screenings, concerts, comedy shows, and more throughout the year. Here are some of our favorites.

  • Art in Public Spaces: Art in Public Spaces is a beloved program offered all year long at the Center. Guests can enjoy exhibitions, receptions, and intimate talks with a wide array of artists. Be sure to check out the artwork displayed all over the Center’s campus including the theater gallery and courtyard.
  • The Hootenanny: The Monday night Hootenanny is a long-running tradition in Jackson Hole and is a fun, lively performance of all your favorite cowboy songs. This event showcases some of the region's all-time favorite folk musicians on the Center's stage.
  • WILD Festival: The week-long WILD Festival takes place each fall and educates the public about conservation and wildlife protection. Guests can attend premiere film screenings, watch award-winning documentaries, and interact with some of the world’s leading scientists and filmmakers.

Box office hours are 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, 2 hours prior to performances. Check the Jackson Hole Center for the Arts events calendar for a full list of upcoming programs.
