Why This Fair?

You may have already noticed that Jackson Hole, Wyoming, is a truly special place. Here, we hold ourselves accountable for being good stewards of the earth and our local community. Today, not as many people "work the land," practice animal husbandry, or grow their own food. The original purpose of a county fair was to preserve and promote these age-old ways of life while gathering friends and family for a fun time together. What to Expect

Not all county fairs are created equal, and ours is certainly one of the best (but we're a little biased)! Every year, the fair runs for about 10 days in the month of July and features everything from rodeos and pig wrestling to pony rides and live music! In addition to special nighttime events like the big opening concert (featuring one of country music's biggest stars), here are just a few attraction highlights:
