When to Go

The Jackson Hole ski season is nearly five months long, giving both skiers and snowboarders plenty of time to carve their own path in the fresh powder. The season runs from opening day on November 24th until April 7th, but there is never a bad time to start planning your trip! If you’re trying to maximize your shred levels, Jackson Hole’s peak season (when you’ll find the best conditions) usually occurs around mid-January to February. When flights into Jackson Hole Airport are diverted, they usually end up in Idaho Falls Regional Airport or Salt Lake City, Utah, both of which are a couple of hours drive from Jackson Hole.
