Spend a Day at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort

1. Alpine Skiing and Snowboarding

With 2,500 acres of terrain, Jackson Hole Mountain Resort is perfect for skiers and snowboarders who like a challenge. The mountain offers 133 trails, including 50% expert-rated, 40% intermediate, and 10% beginner. Backcountry riding is also popular. Be sure to view a trail map before heading out.

2. Terrain Parks

Jackson Hole is famous for its natural playground of terrain. The resort complements those features with two terrain parks, four Burton Stash parks, and a halfpipe. Each mixes up the natural terrain with local wood, jumps, rails, and more. By using what's already around, these parks have more impact on your riding and less impact on the environment.

3. Lessons and Camps

Want to perfect your skiing or riding skills? The professional staff at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort can help! Whether you’re looking to explore new terrain or just want to stand up without falling, their lessons, camps, and guided tours will help you tackle the mountain.

Snowboarders of all ages will love the Steep & Deep Snowboard Camp. This intensive four-day course teaches you new moves will help you control your speed on steep slopes. You’ll also learn terrain evaluation and avalanche safety awareness. If skiing is more your style, take a guided backcountry tour and enjoy epic runs down Rendezvous Mountain. Visit the resort website for details.

4. Rentals

If you came to the Wild West without any gear, don’t worry! There are six rental locations available at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. Their rental department focuses on convenience, selection, and service, with a variety of ski and snowboard options. Hoback Sports is one of our favorite places to rent and is just minutes from the Town Square. From rentals and demos to tune-ups and repairs, Hoback Sports has everything you need for a fun day on the mountain.

5. The Jackson Hole Tram

The aerial tram at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort is one of the best lifts in North America. Nicknamed “Big Red”, the tram can hold up to one hundred people and takes just 9 minutes to reach the top of the mountain. The Jackson Hole Tram was ranked one of the World's Best Ski Lifts by CNN in 2017. There's no doubt about why! It’s a great place to relax and take in the sights before hitting the trails.
