Your Guide to Horseback Riding in Jackson Hole

1. Spring Creek Western Riding

Guests can enjoy guided horseback rides atop the East Gros Ventre Butte with Spring Creek Ranch. They offer one-hour, two hour, and half-day trips, as well as a fantastic dinner after the ride where you'll enjoy a delicious meal in the corral area. For a full day of fun, check out their Paddles & Saddles package where you'll experience a gourmet lunch, a one-hour horseback ride, and your choice of an exhilarating whitewater rafting trip or a scenic float trip down the Snake River.

2. Mill Iron Ranch

Established in 1921, the historic Mill Iron Ranch is bordered on three sides by Bridger-Teton National Forest and features awesome trail rides from horses that are born and raised on the ranch. Climbing 2,000 vertical feet, guests can ride from the ranch into the Gros Ventre wilderness, to the Hoback/Granite area where you'll see herds of elk and their babies, or into the Willow Creek area for a full day of riding and fishing.

3. A-OK Corral

Saddle up for an outdoor adventure with A-OK Corral! Perfect for equestrians of all skill levels, their one, two, or three-hour trips travel through the Gros Ventre wilderness with scenic views of the Teton Mountain Range and the famous Snake River. They also offer horseback trail rides out of the Willow Creek Trailhead, as well as half-day and full-day rides with lunch. A-OK Corral is open from May 16th until Labor Day, and horseback trips are available Monday through Saturday.

4. Willow Creek Horseback Rides

Willow Creek Horseback Rides offers one hour, two hour, half-day, and all-day horseback rides as well as horseback fishing trips and overnight trips. Their unique trail rides take place at an elevation of 8,000 feet in the Bridger-Teton National Forest, where guests will experience unparalleled views while winding through trees, brush, and wildflowers. Along the way, you'll come across a variety of wildlife species, including Rocky Mountain elk, mule deer, moose, red-tailed hawks, and even bald eagles.
