Our chef prepared gourmet breakfast begins with the warm aromas of fresh brewed locally roasted organic coffee, a mosaic of seasonal fruit, homemade sweet breads and something sizzling on the griddle. Breakfast was outstanding, a nice selection of fruit, great coffee and a main course so good my wife pressured the innkeepers to give her the recipe.
Served in the early evening, a selection of cheeses from near and far, along with fresh fruits and vegetables and other special treats the chefs cook, can be enjoyed while relaxing on our expansive porch or by the crackling fire.
The evening hors d’oeuvres was an unexpected highlight of our stay. We met all of the other guests and ended up sharing the Bistro Dinner together and a trail hike the next day.
